Behind A Lens LLC ("we", "us", or "our") operates VidReply. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and website.

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, business name, and optionally your phone number, website URL, and social media links.

Video Content: Videos you record and upload through VidReply, including metadata such as duration and creation date.

Recipient Information: Names, email addresses, and optional details (wedding date, venue) of the couples you send videos to.

Usage Data: We collect analytics on video views, watch time, CTA clicks, and replies to help you track engagement.

Device Information: Device type, operating system, and push notification tokens for delivering notifications.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Service
• To deliver your video messages to recipients via email
• To display branded landing pages for your video recipients
• To provide analytics on video engagement
• To send you notifications about bookings, replies, and account activity
• To process appointments and booking requests
• To improve the Service and develop new features

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (cloud infrastructure) with row-level security policies. Videos are stored in encrypted cloud storage. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate VidReply:

• Supabase: Database and authentication
• Resend: Email delivery
• Apple App Store: Subscription billing
• RevenueCat: Subscription management
• Expo: Push notifications

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing their use of your data.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as necessary to provide the Service (e.g., sending emails via Resend, processing payments via Apple). Video content is shared only with the specific recipients you choose to send it to.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data — including videos, recipient records, analytics, and personal information — is permanently deleted.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (via the Delete Account feature in Settings)
• Withdraw consent for data processing
• Export your data upon request

9. Children's Privacy

VidReply is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
